About Our Project
The towns football ground is large enough to accommodate two large football pitches. The field is maintained at some cost by a group of dedicated volunteers. In the future the club aims to further develop links with the leisure centre and sports development officers to invest in coaching courses for adults, further marketing of fun days, football holiday schools and family environment match days and sporting activities. Already the club organises sessions for girls and boys of all ages and are open to working with members of the community with learning and physical difficulties. Appropriate kit, balls, child friendly goals are key to providing the right environment together with continuous maintenance and development of the refreshments/community club house.
About Our Club
LLanrwst Utd Football Club have two teams that provide footballing opportunities for almost 50, 16 to 40 year old's. We are a voluntary run organisation, the club rely completely on the hard work and dedication of the community. In recent times volunteers have paid themselves to undergo training courses in order to provide coaching sessions for girls, boys and cater for learning and physical difficulties for a range of age groups. Before games on a Saturday the club puts on sessions for the children and provide refreshments in the club house. This is now a regular feature with children then invited to be the match day mascots. Recently the club have tried hard to improve facilities and equipment inc:- pitch, children's kit, balls, bibs, cones, goals and in the future we look to really develop.
