Abergele 3-2 Llanrwst Utd. As the scoreline suggested this was a cracking friday night fixture.
First half saw Abergele score 2 counter attacking goals that was the only difference between both sides. Danny Campbell with both goals, finding the bottom corner with his first, and exposing the visitirs on the counter attack with the second as the Rwsters over committed on the right hand side. It could have easily been 2-2, with Llanrwst failing to capitalise on good opportunities.
Second half started and llanrwst were determined to get back into the game. This showed as Leighton Griffiths curled home a free kick from the edge of the box. Things went from bad to worse for Gele, as centre half Ben Pamment conceded a penalty and was sent off for a second yellow.
Rwsters top scorer Callum Parry slotted home the equaliser setting up a tense finish. The Rwsters took the game to the hosts and were chasing 3 points. However it was Gele who took the three points home. Yet another counter attack, Thomas Galvin heading in at the back post to score the winning goal.
