3 Valuable Points Bryn Jenkins scored a fine individual goal to give Llanrwst Utd another 3 points on the board.
This was never going to be a brilliant game as the playing surface was so poor at Gwydir Park. Both teams were missing key players, Llanberis missing key centre back Gethin Wakeman who was nursing a groin injury and Llanrwst were missing Jamie Turner and Luke Roberts to name a few.
A nicely whipped in corner from Alun Roberts was met by the head of Bryn Jenkins who hit the bar on 30mins. 2minutes later, the same man picked up the ball on the half way line and turning at pace before chipping the ball over the keeper 1-0.
Llanrwst Utd were forced into a change at HT as Jenkins picked up a hamstring injury. On came 16yr old Dan Lycett. Gene Faulkes was asked to play upfront and Lycett slotting in at Right back. Again Llanberis couldn't cope with the strength of Faulkes, similar to Jenkins. Faulkes was unlucky not to make it 2-0 on 56 minutes as his powerful run got him to a great position but he choose to cut it back to Callum Parry but the pass was too heavy and the chance had gone.
Llanberis pilled the pressure on but the Rwsters managed to hang on in for 3 points.
